Clipper is a private, self-hosted tool. Its only user is its owner, who connects their own TikTok account.
It requests the TikTok scopes user.info.basic (to show which account is
connected) and video.upload (to send videos the owner selected to the
owner's TikTok inbox). Access tokens are stored only on the owner's server.
Videos stay on the owner's server until they are sent to TikTok. To write captions, Clipper sends a few still frames, the place name and the owner's note to Anthropic's Claude API. To name the place, it sends coordinates rounded to about 100 m to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. The site is served from the owner's server.
No data is sold, used for advertising or shared with anyone else. These pages set no cookies and use no trackers.
